To Live Is Christ, To Die Is Gain (Francis Chan)

Hello friends. My suspicion is that if you are reading this blog then you could be apart of a home fellowship of some type. Furthermore, if that is the case, it may have been a while since you listened to a “sermon” together with this group of folks.

I would like to encourage you to consider watching this message by Francis Chan at your next gathering. Of course, you could just watch it right now, but I think there would be great value to watching it together with your friends and discussing.

If you have followed this blog, then you have seen links to Francis’s writings and transition from megachurch pastor to house church planter. Now he is moving to Aisa to share the gospel with those who have yet to hear the good news.  I have always appreciated what seems to be a genuine desire to bring glory to Jesus, especially in settings like this.

May Jesus challenge and encourage you and the church by this message and may you be guarded against legalism, feeling like a failure, or that your place in the Kingdom is not as important as those who God leads to make the same life decisions as Francis Chan.

Acts 20:24

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
